NURTW: PCRC NATIONAL LEADERSHIP MOVES FOR PEACE, VISITS ALHAJI TAJUDEEN AGBEDE AT THE NURTW HEADQUARTERS, ABUJA.
In a follow-up to an earlier visit of some members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) to the PCRC National Secretariat in search of peaceful mediation on the ongoing crises within their Union, the National Chairman, Alhaji Mogaji Ibrahim Olaniyan in company of his National Deputy North, Amb. Sadiq Abubarka Wada and other PCRC national officials, on Thursday 21st September 2023, visited the NURTW Ag. National Chairman, Alhaji Tajudeen Agbede at the Union's Head Office in Abuja.
Known for his peaceful moves and crisis management ability within and outside the PCRC, the National Chairman on a fact-finding mission met Alhaji Tajudeen Agbede and other notable leaders of the NURTW due to complaints against the union's leadership and the Police by the other group who visited the PCRC National Secretariat on the advise of the PA to the Honourable Minister for Police Affairs whom they had visited. After hearing from both sides, it was discovered that the allegations against the Police most especially, are far from the truth due to the fact that the Nigeria Police Force under Ag.IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun is known for zero tolerance to all that represents indiscipline and man know man syndrome.

NURTW: PCRC NATIONAL LEADERSHIP MOVES FOR PEACE, VISITS ALHAJI TAJUDEEN AGBEDE AT THE NURTW HEADQUARTERS, ABUJA.

It is also a verifiable fact that Nigerians under the present NPF do not need to know the IGP one on one before they get justice because all that matters to the most senior Police officer in Nigeria are diligent and painstaking investigations devoid of sentiments. It was also discovered during the visit that the NURTW environment was safe and peaceful with no signs or sight of arms and ammunitions as alleged. Even unknown to the PCRC national leadership, most of the NURTW national leaders were discovered to be PCRC members from their various communities, which made it easier for the National Chairman to encourage them to keep the tempo of peace and tranquility in the NURTW for the good intergrity of the Union.
Other PCRC national officials with the National Chairman include :
– Deputy Chief of Staff, Otunba Bolaji Adigun.
– Zone 7 Chairman, Elder Tijani.
– FCT Deputy Chairman.
– Deputy National Women Coordinator (South).
– Dr Osaze
– National Youth Coordinator.
– Others too numerous to mention.
With the Ag. NURTW Chairman :
– Former NURTW Chairman in Ogun State, Alhaji Jango
– Ag. National Secretary, Comrade Agbeyangi.
